6) Student award eligibility:
I am eligible for the Robert I. Larus Prize (graduate student award)
Robert I. Larus Prize:The graduate student presenting the paper or poster judged best by a panel of scientists will win an all-expense-paid trip to the annual AAAS meeting. Participants must be U.S. citizens and enrolled in a graduate program at a university within the region covered by the AAAS Arctic Division. The student must be the first author and present his or her own work at the 2007 AAAS Arctic Division conference.
I am eligible for the Sigma Xi Prize (undergraduate student award)
Sigma XI Prize: The University of Alaska chapter of Sigma Xi will provide a $200 prize for the best poster presented by an undergraduate student. Students must be the first author and present their own work.
To ensure proper formatting, do not indent paragraphs in the body of the abstract and a blank line should be left between each paragraph. If you are using a symbol that is not able to be reproduced in the field below, please indicate what it should be within brackets, e.g.:
"The two-dimensional internal ice stress tensor is represented by [lower case sigma]."
